Vintage mid-century 1950s 7pc wrought iron furniture set ready to be repainted for your Palm Springs pool or cabana tableau. Handsome and happy, with a mod floral back detail that is (honestly) not uncomfortable for your back.
The seats are deep and easy to sit in like a lounger. It is a great low conversation area set for playing cards or having cocktails, a nice hard to find that isnt a dinner or luncheon height. Perfect for a mid century modern hotel or motel or for prop stylists and set designers looking for a 50s Palm Beach or Vegas vibe. They have great lines and an atomic silhouette reminiscent of the Temptestini Radar chair for Salterini. The seat is low and has a pink floral cushion, which I can furnish, though you might want to make some of your own, or use the cushions as a template.
They are unmarked though they could be by one of the big wrought iron makers like Salterini or Woodard. If you can ID them please let me know.
They are in as-found condition, perfectly stable with no joint breaks; they could easily be power sanded and powder coated or sprayed to look showroom new. The metal is rusted and pitted but they are not so far gone they cant be made to look perfect. The rust has not weakened them or rusted through, but please look at the pics closely, and if you need additional images of particular details please let me know. The table needs a glass top, and one leg is slightly bent but it is fine as is and can be easily bent back. If you love them you will want to restore them.Measurements are as follows; angled ring on chairs is 30" wide by 31 1/2" seat to top of back. Seats are 17" wide by 21" deep.
Seat height is 12 at front. Overall depth is about 24 back to front. Table is 36" in diameter, 18" tall.
